Investigators have recognized Steven Ray Hessler as the culprit of the sexual assaults after 35 years. He was arrested and condemned to 650 years in prison.
A jury convicted Steven convicted of two charges of sexual and six counts of unlawful abnormal activity a month before his sentence.
He also counts seven counts of burglary with bodily harm, three counts of criminally aberrant behavior, and one robbery charge.

This happened between August 14, 1982, and August 17, 1985. Ten individuals were assaulted by him: seven women, a 16-year-old girl, and two men, one of whom were a retired Marine.
In the statement, Mr. Landwerlen described Steven as one of the most dangerous, wicked, and merciless predators.
